Marty Adams has been professionally involved in the landscaping and tree care industry since 1983, and earned an Associate of Arts degree from University of Maryland in Ornamental Horticulture in 1987.

He worked in the landscaping business for thirteen years prior to joining Bartlett Tree Experts in the Baltimore office in 1996 as an entry level production employee.

Marty grew up in Howard County, Maryland, and enjoys active membership in the Howard County Forestry Board, as well as the Columbia Town Center Rotary Club.

In 2010, he earned the Board Certified Master Arborist credential from the International Society of Arboriculture. Marty is also a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert, Certified Professional Horticulturist, and Maryland Licensed Pesticide Applicator.

Marty's hobbies include collecting rare plants, fishing, reading, and hiking.
