More about Lawson Taylor
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Lawson developed his love for the outdoors with participation in hiking and camping as a Boy Scout. Following that passion, he enrolled in the forestry program at Stephen F. Austin State University. After earning a Bachelor of Science in forestry, Lawson served as the staff Forest Ecologist at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. With the desire to learn and grow as a professional arborist, Lawson joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2022. He progressed quickly holding positions as Groundperson, Arborist Climber, and Plant Health Care Specialist prior to Arborist Representative.
An ISA Certified Arborist, Lawson is also a licensed Texas Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator. He enjoys using his knowledge and expertise to help property owners make educated decisions on maintaining the health and beauty of their trees and shrubs.
In his free time, Lawson enjoys seeing and recording live musical performances and listening to his extensive vinyl record collection. His favorite tree is the Red Maple, he is growing one that he started from a seed in 2020.
