Kevin attended Grand Valley State University earning a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management. He gained experience during an internship with the City of Grand Rapids Forestry Department. Continuing his education at Michigan State University, Kevin earned a master’s degree in Urban Forestry, studying the conflicts between tree roots and urban infrastructure.
After his graduation in 2017, he started working at Bartlett Tree Experts as a plant health care specialist, caring for many of West Michigan’s beautiful landscapes and protecting them from native and exotic pests. He has also worked on pruning crews, gaining experience in those aspects of tree and shrub care. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and is a State of Michigan Certified Pesticide Applicator. As an Arborist Representative, Kevin services the Zeeland/Hamilton area, as well as South Lakeshore and Fennville to New Buffalo. He looks forward to working with his clients to help them maintain the health, safety and beauty of their landscapes.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys relaxing with his wife and daughter, and hiking in northern Michigan.
