Jason has been involved in arboriculture since 1996 when he first worked as a Wilderness Ranger for the U.S. Forest Service in the George Washington and Jefferson National. He has a Bachelor of Science in forestry from Virginia Tech. Jason began his career with Bartlett Tree Experts in Shenandoah Valley in 1998. He moved to the Hampton Roads area in 2005 and continued with the company. Prior to serving as the Local Office Manager in Chesapeake, he held the same position in Bartlett’s Williamsburg and Roanoke offices.

Jason is an ISA Board-Certified Master Arborist and an ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist. He serves the areas around South Hampton Roads.

During his career, Jason has served the arboriculture community as an adjunct professor at Virginia Western Community College, Vice President of Trees Virginia, and President of the Mid-Atlantic chapter of ISA. Jason currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Beach Beautification Commission and on the ethic Committee for the International Society of Arboriculture. He is married with 3 children.
