Greg is a central Virginia native. He has always had a strong interest in trees and their relationship to the communities and people around him. His passion led him to attend Virginia Tech. He graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. Following graduation, Greg gained experience that included working with the U.S. Forest Service, and the Virginia Department of Forestry. He participated in the American Chestnut Hybridization project, monitoring for new invasive insects.
Greg joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2010, learning about arboriculture literally from the ground up. He has been recognized within Bartlett for his commitment to workplace safety and outstanding customer service. Bartlett's scientific, holistic, and ethical approach to tree care were a natural fit for Greg. His valuable personal experience, coupled with the information made available to him through the Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories gives him an ultimate resource for all aspects of tree care from pruning to soil care to insect and disease management. As an Arborist Representative, Greg takes great pride in offering unique solutions to enhance and care for clients' trees and landscapes.
Greg is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, a Virginia Certified Horticulturist and is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. His service areas include the communities of Leesburg, Aldie, and the Lovettsville/Lucketts area.
