Dan was born and raised in the Litchfield Foothills of Connecticut and first became interested in arboriculture in the Vo-Ag program at Nonnewaug High School. After high school he attended college at Paul Smith's College in upstate New York where he completed degree in Ecological Forest Management. Dan started his career at Bartlett as a Plant Health Care Technician and his favorite tree is the native Flowering Dogwood. Dan is a Connecticut licensed Arborist and an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified Arborist.
