Beth is engaged with pathology and forest ecology related issues in arboriculture. Her focus includes species diversity, plant health and resiliency, tree risk assessment, veteran trees and wood decay. Based in New Hampshire, Beth provides technical support to Bartlett Tree Experts’ arborists in the northeastern United States.
Beth’s current research interests include bacterial leaf scorch, beech leaf disease, novel chemistries for pathogens and promoting underutilized species in landscape design. She contributes to the development of best management practices for the arboriculture industry through the International Society of Arboriculture.
