A Technical Report from The Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories

Centipedegrass (Eremochloa ophiuroides) is a low maintenance, warm-season turfgrass that spreads by stolons. Centipede is often called the “lazy man’s grass” due to its minimal maintenance requirements. Although centipede does not posses the quality of other grasses such as zoysia or bermuda, its low maintenance makes it ideal for many home lawns.
