May 9, 2011 – Wilmington, DE – Global science company DuPont recently presented its Contractor Safety Excellence Award to local tree and shrub care provider Bartlett Tree Experts in Wilmington.  This honor is given to DuPont contractors that have 100% attendance at DuPont safety meetings and no incidents or injuries on any DuPont site.

“We’re thrilled to receive the Safety Award because it demonstrates the commitment we have to protecting our people and the properties we work on,” said Peter Kingshill, Local Manager at Bartlett Tree Experts.  “Coming from a safety leader like DuPont, this is a real testament to our safety efforts, especially when you consider how challenging and dangerous tree care work can be.”

The recognition from DuPont comes shortly after the Wilmington Bartlett Tree Experts location received the company’s internal safety award. During these annual awards, Bartlett recognizes three of its offices for their ongoing emphasis on safety.  Wilmington was selected this year for its exemplary record and dedication to safety in the local community.
