February 10, 2011 - Chambersburg, PA – The tree care industry is ranked among the most dangerous professions.  To help promote safe work practices in the greater Chambersburg area, local resident Bradley R. Evans, an Arborist Representative with the Chambersburg office of Bartlett Tree Experts, recently received his Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) status.  This title is reserved for individuals that have completed an intensive program offered by the Tree Care Industry Association.

According to the Tree Care Industry Association, maintaining a CTSP on staff means that Bartlett Tree Experts is committed to safe practices in arboriculture.  The purpose of the program is to reduce work-related accidents and completion demonstrates a true commitment to improving the safety of tree care workers across the industry.  Consumers can have greater peace of mind with the knowledge that hiring a tree care company with a CTSP helps ensure safe and professional arboricultural work on their property.

As part of the program, CTSP's are kept abreast of the latest technological advances and regulatory activities affecting the industry.  To maintain their certification, CTSP’s must commit to ongoing education in the safety field.
