Allen Blake, with whom l have had the most experience and contact with, is a consummate professional, goes out of his way to be helpful, and takes pride in his work. He is well versed in all matters regarding trees. His work as an arborist shows that he regards it as a calling and not just a job. They started on time and finished by days end, answered any questions, and if they needed to address or do something to get at trees they checked in before doing it. Staff was friendly and hard working. Mike was great and got the crew started per proposal and then followed up with his own email check in after the job even before the office called next day to check in and closeout the work order. Very good followup. Hit everything that was priced on the proposal and did not miss any area. Care of property and driveway to prevent damage was key and was managed well. Blowing and general cleanup of the property was done as well as could be since it started raining early afternoon and got heavier as day went on but they did a great job considering.

Our engagement started with a visit from Mike who is a certified arborist not just a sales person for the company. Because of storm Isaias, work originally scheduled for mid-August was put off until 9/17. However on 9/11, a favorite Kousa started to lose branches, breaking from the weight of fruit. I emailed Mike Feli who came out and did a wonderful job of emergency pruning. If Mike had not taken the time to do this, I am cerain the Kousa would have suffered significant damage. Arborist Mike was very friendly and professional. He even laughed at my Floridian Interloper reference I made, about a pesky Locust tree he removed for us. They came early and took a Cherry tree that was impeding our driveway from a hurricane that blew through CT. He also honored a price from another company for a very large stump that needed removing. They did not damage the lawn while working and they left the site clean. They were priced slightly above the "middle" price range but came in below the "high" end. I would say that Bartlett is the total package and we will be asking them back for all our tree needs.

Both Josh and Cullum were very professional and easy to work with. They explained the treatment process for emerald ash borer and the prognosis for each tree. They also reviewed other trees and gave us advice on the health of the trees and typical pest problems and treatments. In particular Josh took cuttings from our Hemlocks and reviewed them under a microscope. He identified that they had Hemlock rust. He said it was not at a level where it needed to be treated. I called them rather late in the treatment season for borers and I was happy that they were able to respond immediately. I highly recommend them.

We were very pleased with Allen as our arborist representative. He was able to suggest that we take the tree down that was leaning on our property from the wet lands behind our fence which did not belong to us. We know it was a potential hazard but did not realize it could be taken down seeing it was not our tree. The crew was very pleasant and did a good job. I wish to inform you that the two gentlemen you sent here to work on my trees and bushes were truly experts in operating large equipment in a small area. I never believed that someone could climb so high and manage to trim upper branches without so much as a slip. The safety precautions they took and the care for property that they maintained were excellent on all accounts. When they left, the sky looked brighter. It never felt so I could to look up and not see broken branches everywhere. The bushes they took out of my front of the fence came out quickly so that I could begin
reworking the yard the following day. My hat goes off to your crew. They picked up all the branches. Raked the lawn. Even though we couldn't move my husband's car, there was absolutely no property damage anywhere. My husband came home and looked out the window and said "Why does it seem so much brighter?" and then he noticed that the broken limb wasn't there. I finally confessed and said that I hired you. He felt that I did such a fantastic job when I hired you that he asked me to research a "roofer" for our shed.
