Our Hemlocks were treated for Wooly Adelgid last spring. A ground injection was used. I had thought the injections would protect the trees for seven years straight. Am I wrong about this? How often do they need to be treated?

Only 1-2 products have the potential to last several growing seasons, but there is none that I am aware of that are suggesting 6-7 years of pest suppression.
