We have an Alpine tree near our house, which is 160 cm from the base of the stump to the corner wall of the house. The tree is 12 feet tall and has a radius of 70 cm. Will the roots interfere with the property? Also, should we consider felling the tree or is regular topping sufficient to keep it under control?
It would probably be okay to maintain the tree with regular pruning. This should be done annually to keep the size as close as possible to current dimensions. However, I think it is likely that the tree may need to be removed at some point in the future.
