Property Management
A well-maintained and beautiful property improves the quality of life for residents of subdivisions, planned communities, and condominium complexes alike. Bartlett was founded on establishing core value by providing quality care to landscape trees and shrubs by means of a basic, four-step plan:
1. Create and implement effective, preventive plant care and maintenance programs
2. Assess plant health, safety and appearance systematically, thorough inspection and evaluation
3. Make accurate, scientific diagnosis of problems to determine long-term plant requirements
4. Provide a full range of necessary remedial treatments

"Global commercial real estate services company, serving a chain of grocery stores with 60 sites in four different states".
Challenge
This project faced several challenges including inclement weather due to geographical location, large scope, and timeframe (six weeks to complete and invoice). To illustrate, some locations required up to eight hours of travel from the standard area of operations and these journeys often faced harsh weather. Furthermore, all sites required pre-removal inspections by local utility authorities. Ultimately, the severe weather conditions were the most significant hurdle to completion of the project, especially the snow mounds caused by plows piling snow over marked plant material
Solution
As most challenges were logistical in nature, centralizing coordination by establishing a single point of contact for communication with the client allowed the team to provide daily updates and complete the project within the requested budget. The team further maximized efficiency by using well-organized travel crews and pre-determined routes. Internal tracking of schedules and an open line of daily communications with the client made for a highly successful project, emphasizing the importance of attention to detail, developing an organizational system, and careful planning.
Results
All 60 stores were serviced within budget and requested timeframe. The progress of each job was well documented both before and after completion, and the quality of the work performed was exceptional.
Testimonial
"The timely manner in which the project was completed as well as the knowledge and understanding of our needs are the two main reasons this experience was a true pleasure for us. Bartlett kept us informed throughout the whole process and provided detailed answers to any questions upon request." - Bob Fisher

We are innovators, continually improving our standards for operations, customer service and organizational efficiency.
Challenge
Providing their clients an in depth and all-inclusive plan for their trees, producing long-term suggestions for tree management.
Solution
Wynford invites BTE into HOA council meetings in order to discuss and present tree management plans and the many benefits for HOA councils. Example plans are presented to councils and the many elements of the management plans are highlighted.
Results
HOA councils are very impressed with the management plan examples presented and the potential benefits to their member and property assets. This is a great relief to our customers & the property managers as it directs their clients down a road of greatly improved long term fiscal planning. Additionally this system generates high return annual work that results in visually better trees and shrubs for their clients. In general, our client is very happy with the service and they actively pursue us to present our plans to respect HOA clients.

Challenge
Multiple large commercial properties with hundreds of trees on each property that they can't keep track of. They have relied on commercial landscaping companies to monitor and maintain trees in the past and tree health and maintenance has suffered severely. The management company does not have enough people to keep track of the trees and set appropriate budgets for the large number of trees on each property.
Solution
Inspect every property to provide the property managers with a management plan of the trees they have on each property. The plan provides an update on health of the trees and an expectation of maintenance costs for the period of time specified by the management company. The budget for each property and what types of maintenance recommendations were determined by the management company.
Results
Over time the management company saves money on maintenance and has much better maintained trees. Clearances around the buildings are more consistent, reducing costs for building and roof repairs. Tree limb and whole tree failures decreased significantly, reducing emergency storm response costs. The management team can plan ahead and create a budget for the maintenance and adjust their overall budgets accordingly.
