In addition to being TCIA (Tree Care Industry Association) accredited, Bartlett Certified Arborists follow the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards for tree pruning and safety.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>These standards cover types of pruning based on specific goals such as crown cleaning, thinning, reduction and vista pruning. A good arborist knows why and how to execute these wounds to protect the tree\u2019s biological processes and structural integrity. Trees are complex, living organisms.
