Bartlett Consulting was first established in the United Kingdom in the late 1990s. The tree consultant team continues to grow to this day and includes the HortScience|Bartlett Consulting office in Pleasanton, CA and the Urban Forestry Services|Bartlett Consulting office in Mount Vernon, WA. We also have individual tree consultants located throughout the company footprint. Our teams include professionals that have helped lead the arboricultural and horticultural consulting fields for over 30 years. Bartlett Consulting team members provide a wide range of services that include tree risk assessments, tree preservation, construction monitoring, arborist reports, plant selection and plan review, assisting with landscape and urban forest master plans, and the creation of tree management plans. The United Kingdom and Ireland Bartlett Consultancy team was established in the 1990s. They continue to provide the highest quality arboriculture, amenity forestry, and environmental consulting services throughout the greater London area, the southwest of England, and throughout the entire region.
In May 2018, HortScience, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA joined the Bartlett family. Now the HortScience | Bartlett Consulting team, they continue to lead the industry in horticulture, arboriculture, and urban forestry consulting services throughout the San Francisco Bay region.
In August 2019, Urban Forestry Services, Inc. in Mount Vernon, WA joined the Bartlett family. Now the Urban Forestry Services | Bartlett Consulting team, they provide the highest quality horticulture, arboriculture, and urban forestry consulting services in the Seattle, WA and Puget Sound region.
The Regional Inventory Arborist Team
The Bartlett Regional Inventory Arborists (RIA) team is a highly trained group of members from our Bartlett Tree Experts offices. All members are International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborists and Qualified Tree Risk Assessors at a minimum. Members of the team are also ISA Board Certified Master Arborists, ISA Municipal Specialists, Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) Certified Treecare Safety Professionals, and American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) Registered Consulting Arborists. Regional Inventory Arborists focus on needs assessments, tree inventories and site-specific management plans, tree risk assessment projects and tree risk mitigation reports, and environmental services assessments and reports. They specialize in creating unique data collection forms, utilizing high-accuracy GPS equipment, and utilizing Bartlett's ArborScope™ web-based management program to complete inventory projects.
