Emerald Ash Borer Management Statement
In December 2010, a summit was held to develop a consensus among researchers and practitioners for managing ash trees in light of the continued expansion of Emerald Ash Borer. An Emerald Ash Borer Management Statement was produced and signed by attendees of the summit that included Bartlett and all of the leading researchers on EAB. Key points of the Statement are that effective management strategies are available for EAB and these strategies can be more cost effective than tree removal or doing nothing.
